Relatively rare, with symptoms related to pain, crampiform type shortly after taking food and slimming.
But it is unclear the cause of weight loss, whether caused by a difficulty on the absorption of the food or abstaining from food for the post-prandial pain. The diagnosis is made through scans type angio spiral CT and MRI, but the arteriography remains the standard exam for a correct interpretation with respect to surgical correction (mostly aorta-mesenteric by-pass) or the use of the endovascular treatment with balloon dilation through pressure (PTA) and stent placement for maintaining the expansion obtained.
